Processed Food, Dairy and Beverage Industries


We offer products for the Processed Food, Dairy and Beverage industries, including wine, beer, cheese/dairy items, baked goods, soft drinks, canned vegatables, confectioneries, and processed meats.

The following chemical products meet current FCC or Food Specifications as additives and/or reactants. Many also meet the requirements of USP, BP, EP and the DAB.

The possible uses stated below are not recommendations for the products, but are only a guide for some of the possible ways in which they could be used under current Good Manufacturing Practices (c-GMP). The possible uses are also not to be implied as accurate or even permitted under current Food Regulations. Buyers should satisfy their own requirements either through their own testing and/or direction given by their local Food Division of Health Canada or the Food division of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). Final verification for the suitability of any products use is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Unless specified as "liquids", all products are either powders, crystals, flakes, pellets or granules.

Some of the below products offered by A&K Petrochem are also Kosher approved with Kosher Certificates available upon request. Some products can not be certified with a Kosher certificate because of their inherent inorganic or synthetic nature. For these such products, we do have "Kosher Notification" certificates whereby the manufacturer certifies that no animal or dairy products are contained in or used in the manufacturing process.
